Til Jonas
Til Jonas was written to cover a need to put into words the shock, frustration, grief, and the reconciliation after losing someone to suicide, and was not originally written for recording. Composer and lyricist Gro-Marthe Dickson has a hope that the tune can work as a comfort for that are unfortunate to loose someone who chose themselves to go, in a situation where one often is left with lots of questions and thoughts they never will get an answer to.

Gro-Marthe Dickson (b. 1984) is a Norwegian singer with a certain originality and an unmistakable presence in her musicianship. On an almost constant search for new endeavors, she is not a stranger to take on and explore unknown paths in the musical world.

At the moment she is writing new music and debuting her own quartet. The main projects besides Her projects includes the Cole Porter in Norwegian; the jazz band D-lovely (AMP Music & Records 2019 and 2021), the vocal improvisation ensemble Oslo14 (Losen Records 2018, 2019, NOR CD 2016) and the big band show "Sing ‘n’ Swing”.
